AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Sunshine and beautiful weather has finally returned to Central Texas!Expect high temperatures on Saturday and Sunday to climb into the low 60s. Sunday afternoon will also be breezy with southeast winds gusting to near 20. Wind speeds will increase significantly Sunday night with gusts between 25 and 35 mph. Ramsey County prosecutors have filed charges against two men who allegedly used card skimmers to drain thousands of dollars from state-issued EBT accounts across the Twin Cities metro area.Nationwide arrest warrants have been issued for George Dimuleasa, 33, and Iulian Irimiea, 43, who were charged in Ramsey County District Court this week with identity theft, theft by swindle and wrongfully obtaining assistance.The charges allege that Dimuleasa and Irimiea have been involved in installing card skimmers at stores, collecting account information, replicating EBT card numbers onto new cards and then withdrawing cash benefits from ATMs.Dimuleasa, who is believed to be from Spain, and Irimiea, from Romania, “travel across the United States committing EBT theft related crimes,” charges say.“Due to the nature of the charges and lack of ties to the United States, it is not believed that either suspect would appear for court upon issuance of a summons,” the charges say.The Minnesota D...Multiple injured, one dead in bus rollover on I-87

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Friday afternoon, a bus rollover on the I-87 Northway closed all lanes and both shoulders between exits 22 and 23. Officials say the bus was traveling from Montreal to New York City. State Police say 23 individuals were on board, including the bus driver. There is one confirmed fatality and another passenger with serious injuries. Ten other passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Some passengers were taken to the Lake George Village Fire House to be assessed and treated for injuries. Twelve victims were taken to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment, none of whom were in critical condition. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A new report from the New York State Department of Health shows approximately one in four adults statewide are food insecure. Those numbers providing greater insight to the challenges people are facing right here in the Capital Region when it comes to affording food. ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Cardinals, entering the offseason with hopes to transform their pitching staff, make a move to address their bullpen. The Cardinals acquired relief pitcher Andrew Kittredge from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for outfielder Richie Palacios. The Cardinals completed the deal Friday afternoon. CREVE COEUR, Mo. - Authorities arrested a man linked to two foiled carjacking attempts Thursday in Creve Coeur. Johnnie Stidum, 58, faces five felonies in the investigation, including two counts of vehicle hijacking, two counts armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Investigators say Stidum attempted to steal one car in a Schnucks parking lot and another in a Burger King drive-thru.According to court documents obtained by FOX 2, Stidum first approached a victim in a parking lot, flashed a weapon and demanded his vehicle. The victim reportedly handed his keys to Stidum, though he was unable to drive far due to an emergency brake. Investigators say Stidum then got out of that car and ran toward a nearby Burger King. Court documents state that he tried to steal a woman's car as she was placing an order in the drive-thru lane. The woman refused to get out of the car. This is a slap on the wrist.”The 41-year-old former police officer was convicted in October of criminally negligent homicide and third-degree assault in the 2019 death.
