Parent group calls for Denver school board to resign DENVER (KDVR) — A group of parents is calling for the resignation of the entire Denver Public School board.The group “Resign DPS Board” said it’s frustrated with the district’s lack of ability to keep their kids safe, so parents want to start over with new leadership and a new vision.The founder of the group, Heather Lamm, said, “What we're really frustrated about is that this board has been completely ineffectual in actually coming up with a safety plan that addresses the problems. They've been ineffectual in every single thing they've done.”Lamm created this push for change after two deans were shot by a student at East High School. The trio were caught on camera stealing spirits, but they were not just any spirits, Sweeney’s Liquor store, on State Road 7, is a high-end liquor store. “Robbed as much as they could grab and they took off, and it was all expensive bottles, of course,” said Paul Moutsatsos owner of Sweeney’s Liquor Store.These women entered this liquor store and they knew right where they were heading for. “One of them had three bottles with her, three or four bottles with here, and the other one grabbed some more bottles, and then the third one as well grabbed some more bottles from the counter, and then they ran out,” said Moutsatsos. Boston police release new photos in effort to identify suspects linked to machete attack Boston police released new photos Tuesday as they continue efforts to identify a pair of suspects linked to a recent machete attack in the city. Police said the incident happened shortly before 9 a.m. on May 23 near the intersection of Tremont Street and Temple Place. An adult male victim, police said, was left with “serious but non-life-threatening injuries.” Police said one of the suspects is described as a black male with short hair, wearing a gray trench coat style jacket, dark pants and white shoes. The second suspect, according to police, is described as a black male, also with short hair, shirtless while wearing white pants and dark colored shoes. Police previously asked for the public’s help, sharing a separate batch of photos on June 1. Anyone with information is asked to contact Boston detectives at (617) 343-4571.

And a KFF Health News analysis of state data shows the vast majority were removed from state rolls for not completing paperwork.Under normal circumstances, states review their Medicaid enrollment lists regularly to ensure every recipient qualifies for coverage.
